Located in Campagne les Boulonnais, this 300 year old 3 bedroom farm-house has been tastefully decorated with all mod cons considered has original features including exposed beams throughout, and a fireplace mantle dating from 1781. The cottage has a large, well equipped hand-built kitchen, separate utility room and wc, large living room with leather sofas and French doors to the terrace and garden. Upstairs is a family shower room and three bedrooms – two large double bedrooms (one with ensuite shower-room) and a twin bedroom – all rooms have exposed beams. This property is in the heart of the village with a communal petanque court opposite to enjoy and a wonderful boulangerie and café in the village.
Off road parking is provided in the flowered courtyard and the garden is enclosed and laid to lawn with views across the fields. Freeview TV is available or enjoy a DVD.
Relax on the patio or play in the garden or enjoy a BBQ or spend an evening in the superb games room with traditional table football, billiard table and bar. There is something for everyone here !

Security deposit of £400 / 400€ for Coq Rouge – paid by cheque on arrival and returned 1 week after you depart.
The Games Room is only available to guests staying at Coq Rouge.
Each cottage is equipped with free WiFi, TV via Freeview Sat and a DVD player (with selection of DVDs available) as well as teak outside dining table and chairs, sun loungers to share and parasol. There is a BBQ provided for each cottage. Towels and all house and bed linen. Travel cot and highchair and baby bath are available on request free of charge. Gas and water included. For electric, 56kwh are included, as is a basket of wood for the wood burner, after that electricity is payable on a meter reading but the house is very well insulated to it’s not expensive to run.
We also provide a welcome pack of fresh croissants, and fresh flowers and a nice bottle of wine to enjoy for all cottages. All cottages are strictly non-smoking, although you can smoke outside.
All 3 properties can be rented for a larger group. Coq Rouge is 4km away from The Barn and Rose Cottage.
If you are celebrating something special then champagne, chocolates and flowers can be arranged and for Christmas, tasteful decorations are available. We can provide a meal on arrival, please book in advance.

To really help you unwind, I am a qualified Aromatherapy Massage Therapist so can offer a relaxing massage in either the cottage or my therapy room at Ergny.
Crafters can also enjoy on-site knitting classes where you can learn to knit a small project to take away with you, all materials provided.
